The Rice Dish (Rectangle Small),

Multani Blue Pottery

is a sophisticated, low-profile platter that combines geometric precision with the flowing artistry of Multani Blue Art. Designed with a clean rectangular form, this dish is hand-painted with dense floral mosaics in the iconic cobalt blue and white palette. Its compact, elongated shape makes it a versatile choice for serving individual portions of rice, kebabs, or dry appetizers with a touch of traditional luxury.

Material & Craftsmanship

Artisanal Ceramic Build – Hand-thrown from premium clay to create a durable, flat serving surface with defined rectangular edges.
Signature Blue Art Painting – Individually decorated by master artisans featuring traditional heart-shaped floral motifs and a continuous “bel” (vine) border.
High-Gloss Protective Glaze – Fired at extreme temperatures to achieve a permanent, glass-like finish that is non-porous and food-safe.

Size & Design Specifications

Modern Rectangular Silhouette – Features a streamlined, flat basin with subtly raised edges to contain food securely.
Compact Serving Length – Measures 8.5 inches in length, making it ideal for side dishes or individual place settings.
Slim Profile – Designed with a width of 5 inches and a height of 1 inch, providing a sleek and space-efficient footprint on the table.
Practical Weight – Weighs approximately 510 grams, offering a solid and premium feel during handling.

Design & Aesthetics

Iconic Cobalt Palette – Adorned with vibrant deep blue motifs against a crisp white background, the hallmark of authentic Multani heritage.
Symmetrical Mosaic Art – The interior features a central row of detailed floral medallions framed by an intricate geometric chain border.
One-of-a-Kind Original – As a handcrafted product, every dish contains unique variations in its brushwork, ensuring your piece is a singular work of art.

Usage & Durability

Safe for Direct Food Contact – Finished with a lead-free, non-toxic glaze safe for serving hot rice, grilled meats, or cold appetizers.
Fade-Proof Artistry – High-heat firing fuses the pigments into the ceramic, so the designs will never peel, scratch, or dull over time.
